On June 3 we were visited by the children that live in the Iowa Eastern Nebraska House at Mooseheart. There are some of the best kids you will see. Thay were on a trip to see the area and had spent the afternoon with the Fort Madison Lodge. We showed them the town and had a cook out for them and then they spent the rest of teh evening talking with the people who came out to see them. Also the young lady that this Lodge is sponsoring to Mooseheart was here. She is to report at the end of the month and was a little worried about going but being able to visit with some of teh other kids there and there house parents put both her and her mothers mind at ease. It was a delite to meet the kids and there house parents and to see first hand what we help make happen in there lifes.
